Future Plans

I knew I wanted to enter the realm of public sector economics, as I was always passionate about how politics and economics interact. For me, the question of  human impact of economics was central to policymaking. Public sector economics seemed to the best – and only – option to earn a living examining the relationship between policy and people. But after doing this research and discovering resources such as the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the United Nations Development Program, and others, I realized there was a whole field of developmental economics focused on ensuring the growth of peoples in developing and developed countries alike.

My goal is to work in the field of economics, promoting policies that are good not only for macroeconomic indicators, but the real people those indicators represent.
